Caleb Hung serves as the PGA ExecuSearch Regional Support for the West region.
Hung was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and later moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. He completed his studies with a degree in Economics and decided to pursue a career in golf. He began working as an Assistant Golf Professional in 2008 at Fairwood Golf and Country Club in Renton, Washington. In 2015, he moved to Overlake Golf and Country Club in Bellevue, Washington where he worked as an Assistant Professional for three years in the Golf Operation before transitioning into the role of Membership and Communications Director.
During that time, Hung was also actively participating in all levels of PGA leadership and governance. He chaired the Chapter Assistant’s Committee in his early years and was eventually elected to serve on the Chapter Board of Directors. After two years on the Board, he was elected to serve as the Chapter Secretary and ultimately served as the Vice-President of the Chapter before stepping down to become part of the Career Services Team. At the Section level, in addition to serving as a Director, Hung also served as the Section Orientation Committee Chair where he relished the opportunity to meet and mentor new Associates entering the PGM program. He is also a graduate of the PGA LEAD program. He was selected to be a part of the 2018-2020 Cohort and views the opportunity he received as a vital stepping stone in his journey through the PGA of America.
