David Wilson, PGA serves as the PGA ExecuSearch Consultant for the Connecticut and New England PGA sections.

Wilson’s efforts are a key component of PGA professional's and industry professionals’ career enhancement and employer relationships. He believes strongly in PGA professionals and their positive impact on both the golf operation and the local community. Throughout his tenure, he has a track record of fostering long-term relationships between PGA professionals and their employers. Previously, he served as the PGA Head Professional at the Hyannisport Club on Cape Cod. Before working at Hyannisport, he was an Assistant Professional across the world, working at Somerset Hills, Hole-In-The-Wall, Cape Kidnappers, and The Country Club. Having the opportunity to mentor and be mentored has always been what Wilson enjoys most about being a PGA Professional. From being a part of great teams to leading his own, he enjoys seeing those around him succeed and will continue that mindset in his new role.

Wilson will use his previous experience to provide professionals with the necessary tools, strategies, and education to implement at the facility level. He takes a team approach to his position and how he communicates with PGA Members and club leadership to ensure long-term success for all parties.

Wilson graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management and minoring in Business Administration. David’s first experience in golf came during a practice round for the 1999 Ryder Cup at The Country Club in Brookline. Within a year he played his first round of golf with both his grandfathers and his father in Ireland, where both of his parents grew up. When he is away from work he enjoys playing golf, photography, and traveling while spending time with his wife Shayla and their dog Winston.
