Kathy Grayson, CPCC, APRW, SHRM

Kathy Grayson, CPCC, APRW, SHRM serves as the PGA ExecuSearch Consultant for the South Florida PGA Section. She brings over 35 years of experience to the PGA Execusearch Consulting team.
Grayson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Ferris State University. She is also a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), Certified Professional Resume Writer (APRW), and certified member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Grayson began her career on the tournament side of golf, serving as the Tournament Coordinator for the 1985 Florida Open, 1987 Louisiana Open, and 1992 PGA Championship. Additionally, Grayson held management roles with industry-leading organizations including Callaway Golf Company, Antigua, and Troon Golf Management. She was also the Director of Retail at four, “Top 100” private golf facilities, including Whisper Rock Golf Club and Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona; and Bellerive Country Club and Old Warson Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. Grayson also had the unique experience of serving as the Associate Director of Volunteers for the 1994 United States Olympic Trials contested in St. Louis, Missouri and Southern Illinois.
Grayson attributes her career success to several renowned PGA Professional mentors including Jay Overton, Ken Lindsay, Jerry Tucker, Bill Stines and Michael Brooks.
