Todd Smith, PGA, CPRW

Todd Smith, PGA, CPRW serves as the PGA ExecuSearch Consultant for the Indiana and Michigan PGA Sections.

Smith previously served as District 6 Director on the National PGA Board of Directors where he served as chairman of the Member Championships Committee. Smith has served as a Board Member of the Indiana PGA and the Indiana Golf Foundation. Smith also went through the office chairs with the Indiana PGA. He was the Golf Professional of the year in 2001, Bill Strausbaugh award winner in 2014, and Youth Player Development award winner in 2017 for the Indiana PGA. Smith was inducted into the Indiana Golf Hall of Fame in 2004.

Smith holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Auburn University where he competed for the Auburn Tigers Golf Team and was All-SEC two times. Smith played in 5 PGA Championships, 14 Club Professional Championships and was a member of the 1994 PGA Cup Team.

Smith began his PGA career as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Hoosier Links in New Palestine, Indiana, working for Don Essig, III. After 3 years in this position, Smith became the Head Golf Professional at Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash, Indiana. In 1993, Smith went to work at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Indiana to manage the grow-in process of a new facility. Rock Hollow opened for play in 1995, and Smith has managed the entire operation since the opening. Rock Hollow has hosted 2 Indiana Opens, 1 Indiana Men’s Amateur, 1 Indiana Women’s Amateur, over 30 Indiana PGA Section events, and 15 IN PGA Junior events.


Smith lives in Peru, Indiana with his wife, Claire. He has two children. His son, Brad and his wife, Carmen, have 3 children and live in New Albany, Ohio. Brad is the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at The Ohio State University. Smith’s daughter, Erin, is a Women’s Denim Merchant for American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
