Morgan Williamson, PGA serves as the Recruiting & Member Engagement Specialist for the Southeast Region.


Williamson’s passion for golf began when she played in her first tournament at age 5 and evolved over the years to include not only the joy of the game, but lifelong friendships, trusting relationships, and appreciation for the vast network of resources available to those pursuing a career in golf, as well.


Williamson began her collegiate golf career at Mississippi State University. She then transferred to Belmont University in Nashville, TN to continue playing collegiate golf and to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.


In Williamson’s most recent role as Tournament & Player Development Director with the Gulf States PGA, she was recognized as a trusted and respected resource for PGA Professionals seeking guidance on development and achieving career goals. She also directed PGA TOUR Qualifiers, Drive Chip & Putt Qualifiers, PGA Jr League, and PGA HOPE in the Section.


Williamson obtained her Class A PGA Membership in 2020 through the PGA Associate Program. In addition, Williamson’s experience with playing and directing competitive golf has inspired her passion for mastering the rules of the game and has achieved Advanced USGA Rules Certification.


The Williamson household includes her PGA Professional husband, Matt Williamson, and their vivacious 2-year-old son, Micah, who already loves golf and insists on hitting golf balls daily after school. They live near New Orleans, in Marrero, LA. Morgan’s free time includes volunteering for PGA HOPE to help Veterans learn and enjoy the game of golf, spending time with her family outdoors, and cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
